POSTS

Wooden posts

Wooden posts are a cost effective way of erecting a fence...they do have a limited lifespan compared to their concrete or composite counterparts but are a common feature of many a garden fence.

Concrete posts

For a longlasting strong solution why not consider concrete posts for your new install. Concrete posts are available in slotted versions (to secure fence panels) or alternatively in universal styles enabling the strength of a closeboard/featheredge fence but with the added support of concrete uprights.

Composite posts

A recent addition to the market is the introduction of composite posts. These posts are both aesthetically pleasing in either grey or coffee colours and offer both the durability of concrete products and the strength.

PANELS

A wide range of panels to suit you......

Fence panels are the tried and tested method of fencing...they offer a simple solution and with the range of panels now on offer then can bring an outdoor space to life. Featheredge (or Closeboard) panels are the strongest solution. Newlap panels are a cheaper alternative to these with decorative options like the Contemporary and Windsor panels also available. All panels are standard width sizes (6ft or 1.83m) but are available from 3ft high upwards. Most panels can be adapted to suit your individual requirements, speak to a member of our team who would be more than happy to advise.

FEATHEREDGE FENCING

Probably the most common form of fencing, this style...also known as closeboard offers both strength and adaptability both in boundary lines and sloping ground levels. This type of fence can be installed on both concrete or wooden post options - with concrete or wooden gravel boards fitted as a base board. The top is often capped with a trench capping to protect any water ingress into the top of the boards. Bevelled rails are used as horizontal supports which again allow water to run off away from the boards.

COMPOSITE FENCING

For a low maintenance hassle free solution why not consider a fence constructed from composite fence boards. Composite gets its name from being a wood/plastic composite material thats environmentally friendly, easy to maintain that never requires staining or painting ! The plastic used in its construction is recycled....each square metre equates to approximately 280 plastic milk bottles.

Composite boards are available in a range of colours and when used with insert battens can also be adapted to be used between existing concrete slotted posts or indeed brick pillars.

For the full composite solution consider the composite posts - once fitted with post caps these give a fresh modern look to enhance your property boundary.

PICKET FENCING

Picket fencing is a decorative boundary fence....often installed at low level to give a defining border without keeping out any light. Picket is available in either standalone panels or can be constructed from individual pales set on horizontal rails and can range in height from 1ft up to 6ft. Take a look at our gallery for more examples of decorative picket fencing.

OTHER STYLES OF FENCING

We offer a full range of fencing styles additionally to those already mentioned. These include but are not limited to; Stock fencing, birdsmouth posts, paddock style and hit and miss styles. Please speak to our team about any requirements you may have and we will be happy to advise.
